Perinatal OCD (often referred to as “Postpartum OCD”) is a mental health condition that can be experienced by parents of any gender and can occur during the pregnancy period and/or after the birth of a baby. It is a relatively common perinatal mental health condition, estimated to be present in 2 to 3 percent of all parents, though recent studies believe the number may actually be higher.
