Veronika Spicer PhD
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety in adults: OCD, health anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, and social anxiety. I work with all types of OCD: harm, postpartum, scrupulosity, pedophilia, sexual orientation, contamination, responsibility, relationship, perfectionism, past event. I am able to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, using evidence-based treatments: Exposure and Response Prevention, Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have found I-CBT, a cognitive evidence-based treatment for OCD, very helpful for clients with different types of OCD.
As a Christian, I integrate faith into therapy when requested by clients.
I have been working with clients who struggle with OCD and anxiety disorders for over 15 years. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Ohio University in 2010. I have completed multiple trainings since then on evidence-based treatments for OCD and anxiety disorders. The majority of my practice focuses on clients who struggle with OCD. I offer telehealth and in-person therapy.
