Narrative of Services:

I offer ERP and ACT treatment for those who have OCD or OC tendencies. 60% or more of my work involves OCD treatment. I work with those who suffer from OCD on an individual basis and I facilitate 3 OCD groups at our group practice (Cultivate Counseling).

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In conjunction with ERP and ACT, I utilize strategies related to emotional regulation skill-building, mindfulness skill-building, grounding skill-building, EMDR and “parts” processing, depending upon what co-occurring challenge is showing up for the individual.

Training Description:

I have been a therapist for 14 years and have been treating clients with OCD for the last 7 years. I utilize ACT, ERP, CBT and cognitive restructuring skill-building to address OCD. I received OCD treatment/ERP training through the IOCDF BTTI in August of 2024 in Phoenix, AZ.

Diversity Statement:

I currently work with and have great rapport with clients who come from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and life experiences. I receive cultural competency training every 2 years for my state counseling licensure as well.

Treatment Groups:

Do you have OCD or suspect that you might have it? Join us in a supportive and informative space to explore the nuances of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). During our 8-week “OCD Education and Skills” group, we will take a closer look at the basic characteristics of OCD, as well as the various ways it can manifest in individuals. This space will also help to provide you with the basic skills needed to recognize and address OCD-related symptoms and challenges and it can be a great supplement to your individualized OCD treatment!

**Our April 2026 OCD Education and Skills Group is full! However, we will open another group in the month of August 2026 or sooner! We may also open a virtual OCD Education and Skills Group for those who live outside of Flagstaff if needed!

After completing this basic skills group, you will then have the option to level up by joining our 8-week “ACT for OCD” group where you will learn about and implement ACT strategies to address OCD challenges in a more concentrated way. Afterwards, you can then join our ongoing “OCD Maintanence” group where you can connect with and receive support from others who have gone through our group sessions, while brushing up on previous skills learned! Reach out if you are interested! Hope to see you there!
