Narrative of Services:
OCD & Anxiety Specialist, LLC is a private practice focused on the treatment of OCD and related disorders. While I’m currently building my caseload, I bring extensive experience from prior work in adult and child IOP programs, where I provided evidence-based treatment (ERP, ACT, ICBT) for OCD, panic, social anxiety, and related conditions. Over 90% of my clinical focus has been dedicated to OCD and anxiety. I offer both in-person and telehealth services for clients across Pennsylvania.
Training Description:
I began specializing in OCD treatment in 2015 during my clinical training at Western Psychiatric Hospital’s IOP, where I received intensive supervision in ERP. I’ve continued treating OCD and related disorders in outpatient and IOP settings, using ERP, ACT, and ICBT. I’ve supervised and trained others to do the same. I stay current through advanced trainings and IOCDF conference workshops, and I presented a support group at the 2024 IOCDF Conference. I now offer these services in private practice and provide supervision to early-career therapists in evidence-based treatment for OCD.
Diversity Statement:
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, culturally responsive approach. I have experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, religious, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds, including those navigating intersecting identities and family dynamics shaped by culture. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered. My practice is also committed to accessibility, offering both in-person and telehealth services across Pennsylvania to reduce geographic and transportation barriers to care.
I received formal training in cultural humility and working with diverse populations through the University of Pittsburgh’s MSW program and during my clinical training at Western Psychiatric Hospital. I’ve worked with individuals from various racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds, as well as LGBTQIA+ clients. I continue to deepen this work through ongoing education, case consultation, and client-centered reflection. My practice prioritizes cultural responsiveness, intersectionality, and creating a space where all clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to share their lived experiences.
