Narrative of Services:
A big part of my work is helping people with OCD and related conditions. About 60% of my patients are managing OCD along with concerns like anxiety or depression. Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of people through careful evaluation, medication management, and collaboration with therapists who provide ERP and other effective treatments. My practice is designed to make care feel supportive and personalized, so you don’t have to face OCD alone.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I help people with OCD as well as related concerns like anxiety, depression, bipolar II, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Care starts with a thoughtful evaluation, followed by personalized medication management. I often team up with therapists who provide ERP or other proven therapies, so you feel fully supported. My goal is to help you manage symptoms, feel more at ease in daily life, and move toward lasting success.
Training Description:
I’ve been caring for patients for 18 years and have worked with many people living with OCD and related conditions. Along the way, I completed additional training through the Sheppard Pratt Institute and continue to learn each year so I can bring the best, most up-to-date care to my patients. My approach is focused on thoughtful medication management that works alongside ERP and other proven therapies. Most importantly, I want every person I treat to feel supported, understood, and confident that recovery is possible.
Diversity Statement:
Through my telepsychiatry practice in Alabama, Idaho, and Florida, I work with a diverse range of patients from different cultural, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. A large percentage of my practice serves individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, and I strive to provide affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive care. I also regularly work with college students, professionals, parents, and individuals in both rural and urban areas. My goal is to create a supportive environment where all patients feel understood, respected, and empowered in their treatment.
In PA school, I received training in cultural competency and caring for diverse populations. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different cultural, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Today, a large part of my practice serves LGBTQIA+ individuals, and creating a safe, affirming space is very important to me. I also complete additional trainings each year to stay current and better understand the needs of the communities I serve. My goal is for every patient to feel respected, included, and supported in their care.
