Narrative of Services:
I provide individual therapy, primarily exposure and response prevention (ERP) via Zoom for teens and adults struggling with OCD and related disorders. Approximately half of my caseload includes individuals with OCD; the remaining half of my clients are receiving evidence-based treatment (OCD, DBT, ACT, and related parent-based approaches like SPACE and PMT) for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and various other challenges (life transitions, interpersonal stressors, emotion dysregulation, etc.).
Training Description:
I have been treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders since 2017. I received training on the treatment of OCD and related disorders through my clinical externships at NY Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Northwell Health Zucker Hillside Hospital, as well as my doctoral internship at the New York City Children’s Center, and my post-doctoral fellowship at Small Brooklyn Psychology in NY. I have also received training in the parent-based SPACE protocol for OCD, and have attended the IOCDF BTTI training.
Diversity Statement:
Growing up, being educated in, and working in NYC for most of my life, I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds including individuals who are immigrants from various countries around the world. In addition, I have worked with individuals who identify with a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and religious belief systems and I am comfortable providing treatment while respecting the values set by cultural, religious and spiritual beliefs.
I have completed numerous trainings on providing evidence-based treatment while maintaining a high level of cultural competency and humility throughout treatment. I also have years of experience receiving supervision on topics concerning balancing cultural responsiveness while implementing evidence-based treatment.
