Narrative of Services:

Racine OCD and Anxiety practice specializes in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, anxiety, and related conditions. Approximately 90% of our clients have OCD and/or related conditions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Strategies are evidence-based and tailored to the unique needs of the individual and his/her/their goals for treatment. Empirically supported treatment approaches may include, but are not limited to, exposure response prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy, habit reversal training, and dialetical behavior therapy.

Training Description:

Dr. Racine received her PhD in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Anxiety and OCD Specialists of Austin. Dr. Racine has expertise in the treatment of OCD, panic, anxiety, and pediatric mental health. She is a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), which is an intensive training program specifically for the treatment of OCD and related disorders. She also expertise in habit-reversal therapy for body-focused repetitive behaviors. Dr. Racine is co-author of the widely proclaimed self-help guide: From Misery To Mastery: A Revolutionary New Treatment for Anxiety and Depression.

Diversity Statement:

Dr. Racine is adept at creating a supportive and collaborative environment for all clients. She utilizes strength and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Strategies are tailored to the unique needs of the individual and his/her/their goals for treatment. She recognizes the importance of collaboration with families, schools, and other health providers to ensure that all needs are being addressed and appropriate interventions are implemented for each client. With all clients, ongoing discussion and review is a critical component of therapy and fundamental to a collaborative and trusting relationship.

Dr. Racine has completed specialized training in cultural competence and working with diverse populations. She also completes ongoing continuing education in these areas as well. A collaborative and trusting relationship is critical for effective therapy.
