Narrative of Services:

Over the course of my career, including serving as a consulting and supervisory provider for treatment-resistant cases within a large national telehealth organization, I have cared for hundreds of individuals with OCD-spectrum conditions. In my current private practice, a substantial portion of my caseload consists of individuals with OCD and related disorders, with a strong emphasis on diagnostic clarification and optimizing or correcting ineffective or inappropriate medication regimens.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I use a person-centered, whole-person approach to treating OCD and co-occurring conditions. Care begins with a thoughtful assessment of your experiences, goals, and how symptoms affect daily functioning, with attention to how overlapping conditions interact. Treatment is individualized and may include medication management, along with referral for therapy or close collaboration with an existing therapist. I also consider factors such as sleep, stress, trauma history, neurodivergence, and support systems, with an emphasis on ongoing consent, shared decision-making, and empowerment throughout care.

Training Description:

I have been treating clients with OCD and OCD-spectrum disorders as a nurse and nurse practitioner since 2019. I maintain ongoing expertise through annual continuing education on emerging research in OCD treatment and regularly attend professional conferences, including the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), and American Psychiatric Association (APA) meetings. This training ensures my approach remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with best practices in OCD and related disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I’m an Asian female business owner and have always cared for a diverse patient population. I have a strong understanding of the structural and systemic factors that impact access to and quality of care and am passionate about making mental health services equitable and accessible. My practice prioritizes culturally informed, whole-person care, ensuring that treatment approaches are sensitive to each individual’s background, identity, and unique needs. I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where all patients feel seen, respected, and supported throughout their care.
I have extensive experience working with diverse populations across age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and neurodivergence. My training includes continuing education on cultural competency/humility, health equity and structural determinants of mental health. I regularly engage in implicit bias and anti-racism trainings and incorporate evidence-based frameworks for culturally informed care. My goal is to ensure treatment is sensitive to each individual’s background, identity, and lived experiences.
