Narrative of Services:

Katie Schultz is a Clinical Psychologist, Board Approved Supervisor and Director of Life Balance Clinical Psychology. She provides psychology services in-person at her New Farm based clinic and via Telehealth across Australia.

Special interest areas include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Tourettes Syndrome and Tic Disorders, Trichotillomania, Perfectionism, Anxiety Disorders (Generalised, Social, Health, Panic, Phobias), Sleep Disorders, Burnout, Adjustment, Self-Esteem and Supporting Individuals in High-Performance Environments (e.g. Athletes, Performers, Executives, First Responders, Veterans).

She works regularly with OCD including themes of contamination, harm, ‘just right’, health, relationship, sexual, POCD, order/ symmetry, Scrupulosity (Religious/Moral OCD).

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Treatment is collaborative, evidence-based and formulation driven. Treatment is tailored to each individual’s presenting symptoms and therapy goals.

Training Description:

Katie is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, life transitions and perfectionism. Using evidence-based strategies, Katie works collaboratively with her clients to explore what drives these patterns and develop practical tools to navigate change, manage stress, and build clarity, confidence, and balance in daily life.

Katie completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. She holds General Registration and a Clinical Psychology Endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia.
