Screenshot of OCD Conference WebsiteLast year’s conference was our most successful to date. Nearly 1,200 people from the OCD community joined us in Chicago in 2012 for an inspiring, life-changing event.

With the new year, comes a new conference, and we are busy working to make this year’s program even better. We’ve even launched a new website at www.ocd2013.org to keep you up-to-date on conference information as it becomes available.

This year’s conference will be our 20th annual OCD Conference, and will take place from July 19–21 in Atlanta, GA, our first time in Atlanta in nearly a decade. The Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located in Downtown Atlanta on the city’s world famous Peachtree Street, will play host to this year’s event. Within walking distance to many attractions like the World of Coke, the Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Park, the Hyatt allows for you to take in many of Atlanta’s landmarks with ease.

Of course, the real reason to attend the conference is the quality workshops, support groups, research posters, and evening activities (like our now-famous Kids Karaoke and Fashion Show) that we provide each and every year. The world’s leading experts on OCD will provide practical tools and up-to-date research, while those affected by OCD will share inspiring stories of hope and recovery to all who attend. Our full conference schedule will be released in early March at www.ocd2013.org.

If you would like to submit a proposal to speak at the conference, run a support group, exhibit a research poster, or hold a special evening activity, the conference proposal system is now open! Click here to submit a proposal now.

Happy New Year and we hope to see you in Atlanta!

  • Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking the time and actual
effort to generate a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot
and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
