Description:

The Anxiety Disorders Center at the Institute of Living has been providing expert, evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorders, and PTSD since 2000. We provide exposure and response prevention for children and adults (age 6 and up). Our clinicians are doctoral level psychologists with many years of training and experience in exposure and response prevention for OCD. We provide both in person and telehealth visits, and both individual and group treatment. We also offer a exposure based Intensive Outpatient Program for adults age 18 and older (beginning September 2025).

We provide interpreters at no cost to patients/families

Diversity Statement:

The Anxiety Disorders Center strives to be an anti-racist and LGBTQ+-affirming practice. We are committed to ensuring that our clinic is a safe space for our clients, research participants, and employees.

Diversity and equity are very important to our center. All of our clinicians have participated in many trainings in the areas of diversity and cultural humility. Our clinicians recognize that cultural humility and diversity is a continuous learning process and participate in ongoing trainings. We have bi-weekly meetings that focus on diversity and equity efforts at our clinic.
