Anxiety Solutions of Denver

At Anxiety Solutions of Denver, each of our providers has chosen to dedicate their career to specializing in anxiety and OCD treatment specifically. We are well-versed in gold-standard treatments for anxiety disorders and OCD including Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We offer outpatient therapy to individuals aged 7-years-old and up. When appropriate, we include family members in therapy as a means of teaching them how to best respond to the client to best facilitate progress. Our providers make time to consult with our clients’ other health care providers, such as primary care providers and psychiatrists, to ensure that each member of our clients’ health care team is working collaboratively towards the client’s goals. Four of our psychologists are licensed through PsyPACT, which allows them to see clients residing in PsyPACT-participating states outside of Colorado. We also offer reduced rates for treatment, through working with our doctoral students. Our doctoral students work have been trained in the aforementioned treatment approaches and work under the close supervision of the practice director, Dr. Michael Stein.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Anxiety and OCD rarely exist in a vacuum. Many of our clients also come to treatment reporting depression and interpersonal difficulties among others. We integrate evidence-based treatment for these concerns when appropriate. If co-occurring disorders outside the scope of our competency (e.g. substance abuse, psychosis, etc) are a barrier to anxiety and OCD treatment, we provide referrals to appropriate specialists.
