Cascade Home is licensed by the State of Utah as an 8-bed 90 Day Residential Treatment Facility serving girls 12–18 years old who struggle with severe anxiety, OCD, and OCD-related disorders. Cascade Home’s treatment approach utilizes evidence-based modalities, including Exposure Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Individual, family, group, and recreational therapy, along with individualized sequential exposures, are key components of treatment.
In addition to evidence-based therapies, Cascade Home incorporates daily exercise, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and nutrition into each student’s plan. The program emphasizes emotional, social, mental, physical, and spiritual balance. Two essential elements of Cascade Home are highly skilled clinical intervention and thorough psychological assessment.
1. Each student leaves with an individualized psychological evaluation and a written assessment from the Cascade Home team.
2. SPACE-trained clinicians implement significant family support and intervention.
3. No Blackout Period: Students have immediate, frequent contact with family as initiated by the student, providing therapists with insight into family dynamics and potential triggers.
4. No Level System: Individualized treatment allows students to progress at their own pace, facing real-life challenges that prepare them for life after Cascade.
5. Neurowellness sessions, including neurofeedback, VR implementation, and innovative wrap-around services such as the Neuro Nova chair, enhance treatment outcomes.
We provide inpatient level of care with resources such as: Process groups, psychoeducational groups, music therapy, improv therapy, dietician led groups and individual sessions, neurofeedback, indivicual and family therapy, parent support calls, recreational therapy, experiential therapies such as yoga and other off campus activities.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Cascade Home provides individualized, evidence-based treatment for girls 12–18 with anxiety, OCD, and co-occurring disorders. Our approach combines Exposure Response Prevention, CBT, RO-DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing through individual, family, group, and recreational therapy. Students receive sequential, personalized exposures and daily wellness practices, including mindfulness, yoga, exercise, nutrition, and service. SPACE-trained clinicians provide intensive family support, with no blackout periods and no level system, allowing authentic growth. Neurowellness sessions, neurofeedback, VR, and innovative tools like the Neuro Nova chair complement therapy, addressing both primary and co-occurring disorders while promoting emotional, social, mental, and physical balance.
