Excelsior Psychological Services is an outpatient mental health clinic offering a full range of psychological/psychiatric services. We are dedicated to the highest quality of psychological treatment provided with a sense of professional integrity, compassion, individual pride, and a warrior’s spirit.

Excelsior Psychological Services offers treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with emotional, developmental, educational/occupational struggles, as well as family and interpersonal concerns. Our staff is comprised of psychologists, social workers, counselors, as well as a psychiatric nurse providing therapy in anxiety, trauma, and stress related disorders, in addition to depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADHD, and grief and loss.

Family therapy is may be utilized as a treatment modality as clinically appropriate. Referrals are made to local OCDF of MI for those seeking support groups.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

At Excelsior Psychological Services we treat the individual and not a diagnosis. When various disorders are present within an individual, clinical decisions are made regarding which issues to address first and what is needed to create an integrated and comprehensive treatment plan, taking into account such things as need for stability, growth and development, and risk of decompensation. Treatment is individually based addressing whatever is interfering with an individual’s ability to function and live a meaningful life.
