The programs are able to provide targeted treatment for ARFID and perinatal/postpartum obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Integrated treatment can address our clients’ OCD and co-occurring disorders. Our integrated treatment involves multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the client’s medical and mental health are being nurtured. An integrated approach allows treatment teams to draw on each clinician’s specialties and collaborate on an individual’s care.

Diversity Statement:

All employees must develop, adhere to, and demonstrate a philosophy and commitment to cultural competence and proficiency. Staff members are expected to understand the interplay between theory and practice, and be committed to policies that enhance services to our clientele. Thrive Wellness recognizes and values the richness of diversity among its patient population and staff. It is the intention of the organization to provide nondiscriminatory, ethnically, and culturally sensitive treatment services to our diverse patient population, and training opportunities to our staff.

Each clinician and staff member in our program is required to attend a cultural competency training on a yearly basis that addresses working with diverse populations and identities. Further, the licensure held by each of our clinicians and practitioners requires that they attend a minimum of 3 CEUs or more of cultural competence training for licensure renewal.

Thrive Wellness of Reno values working with diverse populations including but not limited to sexual orientation, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, and socio-economic status. Our milieus always represent a wide variety of the previously listed identities, and our therapists and staff receive training and orientation on culturally relevant identities and the manifestation of anxiety disorders within those identities.
