Narrative of Services:

Dr. Dunn is a compassionate psychologist with a passion for treating OCD and related disorders using evidence-based approaches. She provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) including but not limited to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Dunn also offers Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) for OCD.

Dr. Dunn customizes treatment for adolescents and adults with OCD and other related disorders using a range of approaches including individual therapy, parent consultation and training, and family therapy. Dr. Dunn offers in person services that are accessible in New Jersey and New York, and telehealth services in 30+ states.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to OCD, Dr. Dunn treats a range of co-occurring anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia, perfectionism, and BFRBs like trichotillomania and excoriation. Dr. Dunn also works regularly with neurodiverse clients, particularly those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Training Description:

Dr. Dunn’s specialized training includes, but is not limited to, a clinical internship at Bellevue Hospital/ New York University Medical Center, IOCDF’s Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), and TLC’s Virtual Professional Training Institute for treating BFRBs. Dr. Dunn has additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the Unified Protocol (UP) for Children & Adolescents, and CBT for insomnia (CBT-I).

Dr. Dunn has been a licensed psychologist since 2012, and has been in private practice since 2017. She has served as a clinical supervisor, tenure-track professor, staff psychologist at a university, and director of a doctoral program.
