Light It Up for OCD Awareness Week: Rhode Island State House
In honor of OCD Awareness Week (October 11–17, 2026), the Rhode Island State House dome will be illuminated teal from October 6–10, 2026 as part of the International OCD Foundation’s Light It Up for OCD Awareness Week campaign.
Teal is the official color of OCD awareness. By lighting up one of Rhode Island’s most recognizable landmarks, OCD Rhode Island hopes to shine a light on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), reduce stigma, and create a visible symbol of hope and support for individuals and families affected by OCD.
If you see the State House illuminated in teal, snap a photo and share it on social media to help spread awareness using #TealForOCD and #OCDAW.
