Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment
The Psyche Psychology Center will host a scientific and practical symposium titled “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment,” where modern scientific approaches to the diagnosis, neurobiological foundations, and pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) will be discussed.
The symposium aims to bring together experts from various fields of expertise to present psychiatric, neurological, and psychological perspectives on OCD on one platform and to strengthen the connection between scientific knowledge and clinical practice.
The event will discuss topics such as DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis of OCD, neurobiological mechanisms, its relationship with Tourette syndrome, pharmacotherapy in children and adolescents, family accommodation, and the clinical application of CBT and ERP.
