Narrative of Services:
Services include screenings, interview, and evaluation of presenting symptoms. Patient population is approximately 80% with an OCD or related diagnosis including children, adolescents, and adults.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Treatment includes an initial diagnostic interview with diagnostic screenings to capture manifestations. Patients are provided psychoeducation regarding OCD, a treatment plan to encompass additional adjunctive services, and a written report of recommendations with rationales. Autonomy is encouraged, as psychotropics can often be a challenge given the nature of OCD. The most positive outcomes are typically seen when the OCD symptoms are treated as primary, with co-occurring disorders treated afterwards.
Training Description:
Training has included supervision/mentorship through Epiphany OCD Center and Outsmarting OCD, who are immersed in the IOCDF community. I also have completed numerous training modules and workshops to assist with diagnostics and effective treatment options that have allowed for effective prescribing and remission of symptoms if combined with evidence-based psychotherapy for OCD.
