Narrative of Services:
My practice specializes in OCD and OCD‑related disorders. I have treated those with OCD/OCD-RS across outpatient, intensive, and telehealth settings. Services include ERP, CBT, ACT, family‑based interventions, relapse‑prevention planning, and integrative support for co‑occurring conditions. I offer virtual care for adults, pediatrics, and families, with a focus on holistic, evidence‑based treatment.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I treat OCD with co‑occurring anxiety disorders, bipolar, depression, trauma‑related conditions, ADHD, personality disorders, autism, chronic illness, and substance use disorders. My approach integrates ERP as the core modality, supported by CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing. For clients with addiction or trauma histories, I coordinate structured treatment that addresses compulsions, emotional regulation, and relapse‑prevention simultaneously. Sessions follow a clear, collaborative plan with goals, exposure hierarchies, and skills training tailored to each client’s needs.
Training Description:
I have over 25 years of clinical experience treating OCD and OCD‑related disorders. My training includes graduate and post‑graduate clinical education, specialized ERP training, advanced training through nationally recognized OCD programs, and ongoing consultation with senior clinicians affiliated with major academic medical centers and IOCDF‑connected institutions. My work spans inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings, with extensive experience in complex and treatment‑resistant OCD. As a naturopathic physician (AZ), I have specialized expertise in helping those with chronic illnesses and health/medical/medication OCD.
Diversity Statement:
I provide an inclusive, culturally responsive environment for clients of all backgrounds. I am committed to equitable access to OCD treatment and have experience working with diverse racial, ethnic, gender, and socioeconomic populations. My practice emphasizes respect, cultural humility, and individualized care that honors each client’s lived experience. My practice serves a highly diverse population. I frequently work with clients navigating cultural stigma around mental health, intergenerational dynamics, and identity‑related stressors. My approach integrates cultural context into assessment, treatment planning, and ERP design to ensure interventions are respectful, relevant, and effective.
My training includes formal coursework in multicultural counseling, continuing education in cultural humility, and clinical experience serving diverse populations in hospital, community, and telehealth settings. I have worked with BIPOC clients, LGBTQ+ individuals, military personnel, and clients from varied religious and cultural backgrounds. I prioritize culturally informed case conceptualization and adapt ERP to align with clients’ values, identities, and cultural frameworks.
