OCD Ireland is a non-profit organization, which began in 2003, whose primary goal is to provide support to people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Trichotillomania (TTM or Trich) as well as to their family and friends. OCD Ireland also collaborates with and is partnered with St Patrick’s University Hospital, Dublin (www.stpatrickshosp.ie).
In order to achieve this aim, OCD Ireland provides free informational talks about these disorders, advertises local support groups, and works with media to develop positive messages and images associated with these disorders.
