Description:

Established in 2014, OCD North Carolina is a non-profit affiliate of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF). Our mission is to:

    • Educate the public and professionals about OCD in order to increase awareness and improve the quality of OCD treatment.
    • Support research into the causes of and effective treatments for OCD and OCD-related disorders.
    • Improve access to resources for those with OCD and their families in North Carolina.

Update:
As one of the “newer” IOCDF affiliates, OCD North Carolina is in the process of surveying members to help determine areas they would be most interested in the affiliate initially focusing its energy on. In addition, since most of our board members and officers are located in the central part of the state, we are planning two outreach meetings for 2016 in other areas of North Carolina in order to meet members and provide community education programs in other locations not typically served during OCD Awareness Week.
