Training Description:
I have one year of clinical experience treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and OCD spectrum disorders using evidence-based approaches, primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I have completed multiple NOCD professional trainings and certifications focused on OCD assessment, ERP treatment, and managing common OCD presentations. I regularly participate in continuing education related to OCD and anxiety disorders to strengthen my clinical skills. In addition, I receive ongoing clinical supervision with my supervisor, who has specialized expertise in OCD treatment, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality care for individuals with OCD and related disorders.
Diversity Statement:
During my master’s program, I completed coursework in multicultural competency, which focused on understanding how culture, identity, and systemic factors influence mental health and treatment. My training emphasized culturally responsive care, awareness of personal bias, and adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds. In clinical practice, I strive to provide inclusive, respectful care and consider each client’s cultural, social, and personal context when developing treatment plans. I continue to build cultural competence through ongoing professional development, supervision, and experience working with individuals from a variety of cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
