Narrative of Services:
Approximately 50% of my practice focuses on OCD and related disorders, with particular specialization in Relationship OCD (ROCD). I have treated at least 60+individuals with OCD and related conditions, such throughout my clinical training and practice. Services include: individual therapy using ERP, ACT, and I-CBT; couples therapy for ROCD and relationship anxiety; therapy intensives (full-day and multi-day formats) for accelerated treatment; and treatment for co-occurring eating disorders, anxiety, and trauma. I offer both in-person and telehealth options, accepting select insurance panels and private pay.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I use an integrated approach prioritizing ERP for OCD while addressing co-occurring conditions (anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, relationship distress). Treatment begins with comprehensive assessment to identify how disorders interact and maintain each other. I implement ERP as the foundation alongside ACT and I-CBT, while incorporating evidence-based interventions for co-occurring issues—ensuring OCD treatment remains central and compulsions aren’t inadvertently reinforced. My background in trauma-informed care and body-based approaches allows me to address somatic symptoms and trauma responses that often accompany OCD. I offer both traditional weekly sessions and intensive formats for complex presentations.
Training Description:
I have 3 years of clinical experience treating OCD and related disorders. My specialized training includes completion of cognitive-behavioral therapy coursework through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute (CBI) and extensive clinical supervision from a doctoral-level clinician trained by the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). I have completed advanced training in trauma, violence, and loss through Marshall University. My practice emphasizes Relationship OCD (ROCD), for which I have pursued specialized consultation and training. I utilize evidence-based approaches including ERP, ACT, and I-CBT, and have experience treating OCD across various presentations including contamination fears, harm obsessions, scrupulosity, and relationship-focused obsessions.
