Narrative of Services:
Approximately 50-60% of our clients have OCD or other anxiety disorders.
Training Description:
I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the “gold standard” for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and have multiple years of experience treating OCD. I engage in annual IOCDF conferences as well as peer consultation with other OCD experts in my field. In addition to ERP, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients gain skills for improved coping with stress and managing big emotions.
I have also received training in Habit Reversal and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) through Tourette Association of America.
Diversity Statement:
Anti-oppression is a core tenet of my personal and professional practice. I work with individuals with a wide range of strengths and experiences. I strive to facilitate therapy that affirms and responds to different aspects of individual identity, including race, ethnicity, country of origin, gender, sexual orientation, ability status, religion, and spirituality.
Therapy alone cannot interrupt systemic issues. I consider myself and my clients within the context of our communities and broader culture, and seek to help clients find agency within their lived environment.
