Counseling services for children, adolescents and adults which include :
Anxiety Disorder 50 % of population served
OCD – 20 % of those above.
Focus of practice is primarily exposure therapy with exposures planned in the office and out of the office in client home setting when possible. Relapse prevention planning a component of treatment.
Substance abuse disorders; Depression; Other Anxiety Disorder such as Phobias and GAD.
CBT/Exposure Therapy: Behavioral Activation Therapy; Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction; Applied Behavioral Analysis.

LCSW with over 25 years of practice (inpatient and outpatient settings). Post graduate training – Emory University (10 years) Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, CBT training for OCD/Phobias. 17 years in private practice with 10 years in treating anxiety disorder to include OCD, Phobias and GAD. Extensive training in CBT, MBSR, DBT and ACT with multiple CEU workshops. Other specialty areas include substance abuse (inpatient, outpatient experience) and couples therapy using Gottman and EFT approach.

Education (formal) Social Work is a field that places emphasis on working with culturally diverse populations. The SW curriculum is designed to include such courses on the both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Work experience: Experience in multi-cultural and ethnic populations to include Grady Memorial Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Families First (Atlanta, GA).
CEUs – ongoing training and practice of the NASW Code of Ethics through continuing education, peer supervision and consultation groups.
