About 80% of my caseload at any given time are individuals aged 16-40 with OCD or a related disorder. I have worked with dozens of individuals with these presentations, especially individuals prone to rumination, perfectionism, mental rituals, moral OCD, harm OCD, health anxiety, emetophobia, POCD, sexuality-themed OCD, meta OCD, panic, and existential OCD. Many of my clients are also working through addictive or “sticky” relationships with their phones, the internet, social media, news, food, marijuana or alcohol, porn, or other substances/processes.
My approach is well-suited to modifying for and including adjunct treatment for other forms of anxiety, depression, and substance or process addictions.
I have been treating OCD, anxiety, and related disorders in adolescents and younger adults since 2020. I have completed a number of trainings in using ERP, ACT, and CBT to treat these disorders, and have been receiving training in mindfulness and mindfulness-based interventions since 2018. I have attended OCDI conferences and workshops therein. I have received direct supervision from two senior providers in the OCD treatment field, both of whom own successful group practices focused on OCD treatment.
I am a non-religious Ashkenazi Jewish American and my lived ethnic experience helps inform my work with other Jews who find their cultural and ethnic upbringing or identity relevant to their contemporary experience.
