Narrative of Services:

I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD- and anxiety- related disorders. I utilize evidence-based strategies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in being able to effectively engage in ERP.

I provide intensive, personalized treatment for children, adolescents and adults. I offer individual sessions as well as sessions for couples and families. Treatment can sometimes include a hybrid model of virtual and in-person sessions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Many people I treat experience OCD [themes including existential, health, relationship, harm, sexuality (pedophilia, orientation, incest), contamination, scrupulosity, perfectionism and just right feelings] or anxiety [including generalized, phobias, panic, separation and social] commingled with other issues. I tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. When indicated, I include evidence-based interventions for depression and other mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), hoarding and body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). I also treat body-focused repetitive behaviors (including hair-pulling, skin-picking and nail-biting), substance use, self-injurious behavior and disordered eating. Additionally, I specialize in treating trauma, including complex, developmental trauma.
