Narrative of Services:
Stony Brook University’s Department of Psychiatry offers outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Within their practice, I see individuals seeking treatment specifically for OCD and can provide intensive outpatient options (2-3 times per week).
I also treat Phobias, social anxiety, GAD, depression.
Training Description:
I attended Stony Brook University to obtain my PhD in clinical psychology with a particular interest in the development, trajectory, and effective treatment of anxiety and mood disorders over the lifespan. I then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute (Harvard Medical School) for Children and Adolescents. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at Stony Brook University and use evidence based treatments such as ERP, CBT, and ACT to address OCD and its common co-occurring disorders.
