Narrative of Services:

50% of my appointments each week are for patients who have OCD or OCD related disorders. Most of my OCD patients have PTSD, harm OCD, obsessive suicidal thoughts, BDD, and/or a serious mental illness. I also have helped a number of artists.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat OCD and PTSD. I use a combination of E/RP and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I help you learn to differentiate between your OCD and your PTSD and when to use which skills.

I also treat Bipolar Disorder/Psychosis and OCD. I use ACT, DBT, and E/RP.

Training Description:

I have been treating patients with OCD and OCD related disorders since 2014. I received training with supervision for Exposure Response Prevention Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a graduate student at Baylor University and as a Post Doctoral Student at the SOHO CBT Therapy and Mindfulness Center in NYC. I receive continuing education from the International OCD Foundation on an annual basis.

Diversity Statement:

I have worked in various community facilities and in NYC so I have experience working with diverse populations. My current private practice, in Ithaca, NY, also serves a diverse population.
