I specialize in treating Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety Disorders, ADHD and Cognitive Issues, coping with Health & Pain-Related issues, and navigating Relationships & Dating. I work with individuals and couples/polycules and have advanced training in assisting Women, LGBTQIA+ folks, people facing chronic stress and trauma, minoritized folks, ENM and Poly relationships, Veterans, Health Care Workers, and First Responders. On average, my practice is 25-50% clients with OCD.
I am trained in ERP for OCD and also specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and navigating life transitions, including physical health disorders. I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Narrative and Written Exposure Therapies.
I completed an MA in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, focusing on trauma and global mental health. I then completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, focusing on trauma, anxiety, and implementation science and integrated care. I did my pre-doctoral internship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Langone and my postdoctoral fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine/NYPresbyterian Hospital. I also completed multiple externships focusing on anxiety and OCD disorders
My practice is trauma-informed, anti-racist, decolonial, intersectional, culturally informed, feminist, and inclusive. I often work with underserved and under-resourced populations, including women, veterans, LGBTQIA+ folks, ENM and poly folks, refugees and immigrants, first responders, healthcare providers, and members of minoritized groups.
Most of my training sites included a focus on cultural competency and challenging systems of power/regarding clients and case conceptualization with a contextual lens. I am always continuing to learn how to better serve clients with different cultural backgrounds than my own through CE, lectures, and reading.
