My practice specializes in evidence-based treatment for OCD and related anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Approximately 80–90% of my caseload consists of adults with OCD, including contamination, harm, relationship, and somatic presentations, as well as related conditions such as panic disorder, social anxiety, and illness anxiety. I provide structured ERP via telehealth across California, with an emphasis on measurable progress, skill generalization, and long-term relapse prevention.
In addition to OCD treatment, I use Exposure and Response Prevention for Social Anxiety Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Specific Phobias, particularly when these conditions co-occur with OCD. I integrate Behavioral Activation for comorbid depressive symptoms, Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for body focused repetitive behaviors and tic disorders, and I am trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE) for comorbid PTSD and trauma-related symptoms.
I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through a national OCD treatment and advocacy organization and have two years of focused experience treating individuals with OCD. During that time, my caseload consisted almost exclusively of adults with OCD and related disorders across telehealth settings in California. My experience has emphasized structured ERP, case consultation, and ongoing supervision within a team dedicated specifically to evidence-based OCD treatment.
My education and clinical training have emphasized cultural humility and responsive care across diverse settings. I hold a Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, where coursework and field training focused on culturally informed practice. Professionally, I have worked with adults experiencing homelessness, families involved in the child welfare system, and a diverse telehealth population across California, including veterans and LGBTQ+ clients. Ongoing consultation, supervision, and continuing education inform my work. I approach treatment with attention to identity, systemic stressors, and the ways culture, community, and lived experience shape mental health and recovery.
My graduate training emphasized culturally responsive and systems-informed practice. I have completed continuing education focused on cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and working with marginalized communities. Clinically, I have worked with adults experiencing homelessness, families involved in child welfare, veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals across diverse racial, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. I integrate cultural formulation into assessment and treatment planning, recognizing how identity, stigma, and systemic stressors interact with OCD and anxiety symptoms.
