My practice focuses on individuals and couples experiencing OCD, anxiety, ADHD, and related mental health concerns. I use evidence-based approaches including ERP, CBT, and ACT to support symptom reduction and improved functioning. In couples work, I help partners navigate the impact of mental health conditions on their relationship while supporting both individual recovery and relational health. I also work with couples on communication, conflict resolution, intimacy concerns, and strengthening emotional connection and understanding within the relationship.
Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive symptoms will be treated using a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Treatment will focus on increasing tolerance of uncertainty and distress, reducing compulsive and reassurance-seeking behaviors, identifying and restructuring maladaptive thought patterns, and improving psychological flexibility. ERP interventions will be utilized to gradually expose the client to feared thoughts, situations, and triggers while preventing engagement in compulsions or avoidance behaviors. ACT interventions will support the client in learning to observe intrusive thoughts without over-identifying with them, increase willingness to experience discomfort, and engage in values-consistent behaviors despite anxiety. CBT techniques will be incorporated to help the client identify cognitive distortions, challenge maladaptive beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies.
ADHD-related symptoms will be addressed through skills-based interventions focused on executive functioning, organization, time management, task initiation, prioritization, and emotional regulation. Treatment may include development of structured routines, behavioral strategies, environmental modifications, and practical coping tools to improve daily functioning, productivity, and follow-through across academic, occupational, and personal domains.
I completed specialized training through the NOCD Academy focused on the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In addition, I pursued advanced training in the treatment of hoarding disorder and participated in weekly clinical consultation which provided ongoing supervision, case conceptualization support, and advanced skill development in OCD treatment. I also completed specialized training through Massachusetts General Hospital focused on the assessment and treatment of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). These experiences have provided extensive training in treating a broad range of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety-related presentations.
