Narrative of Services:
At Emblem Psychology & Consulting, I specialize in treating OCD and related disorders across the lifespan. Over 70% of my practice focuses on OCD, anxiety, tics, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and selective mutism. I provide primarily virtual, PSYPACT-certified care in 40+ states for children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families. Using CBT, ERP, HRT, CBIT, and DBT- and PCIT-informed approaches, I emphasize collaboration, measurable outcomes, and lasting change—whether helping adults reduce symptoms or supporting families in fostering resilience and independence.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Co-occurring disorders include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Tourette Disorder and/or Trichotillomania. After thorough assessment, we will discuss the order of priority of the client’s needs during treatment planning. If co-occurring disorders are or need to be treated by other providers, I collaborate closely with those providers as needed.
Training Description:
I am a licensed psychologist with over 8 years of experience treating OCD and related disorders. My graduate and postdoctoral training at NBI, led by two members of the IOCDF Scientific Advisory Board, and provided care across outpatient, intensive outpatient, hospital and partial hospitalization settings, with more than 70% of my caseload focused on OCD and related concerns. In addition to clinical work, I supervise and train clinicians in evidence-based treatment and continue advanced workshops to ensure the highest quality of care. As a former Associate Director, I have designed and advised on complex cases at multiples levels of care.
Diversity Statement:
I have provided care to immigrant, first-generation and several minority communities as well as individuals with LGBTQIA+ affiliation.
I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and have extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My training emphasized the impact of culture on mental health, and I have treated clients across varied identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, and multicultural families. I strive to create an affirming, collaborative environment, tailoring evidence-based interventions to align with each client’s unique values, cultural context, and lived experiences while maintaining sensitivity, respect, and inclusivity in all aspects of care.
