The Snow Psychology Group, LLC is a private group practice specializing in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children, teens, and adults. We focus on treating OCD (ages 12+) using Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard approach. We also address anxiety, phobias, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions, which often intersect with OCD. Our licensed psychologists have advanced ERP training and extensive experience treating OCD, including mental compulsions, across a wide variety of OCD subtypes. I work with teens (12+) and adults. When working with young teens, I involve parents as needed to reinforce ERP skills at home.
We use evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including exposure-based treatment, to treat co-occurring conditions. This involves modifying unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior to improve your mood and decrease avoidance so you can live your life more fully and make decisions in alignment with your personal goals and values.
My OCD training began as a doctoral student at Lehigh University (APA-approved) and continued in-depth during post-doctoral fellowship training, where I had extensive supervised experience treating OCD. Post-doctoral training in OCD treatment also included completing formal training in Exposure with Response Prevention at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania, whose director is the developer of the approach.
I have experience working with a wide variety of diverse people, including those who identify as LGBTQ. I have particular experience working with veterans from my time training at several Veteran’s Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs). I use an affirming, multicultural, and strengths-based approach to support you or your teen.
