Kristin Bianchi PhD
My clinical specialties include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors such as hair-pulling and skin-picking. I treat all variants of OCD, including classic, Tourettic (nervous system-driven), Relationship (intrusive doubts pertaining to significant others), contamination-themed and disgust-driven (e.g., contamination, moral scrupulosity, P-OCD, and hygiene preoccupation). I conduct sessions virtually, in person, and in vivo. More than half of my clients are living with OCD.
I have been treating clients living with OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders for 15 years, and I am a graduate of the Professional Training Institute (PTI) of the Trichotillomania Learning Center (TLC). I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington, where I remained a staff member for an additional 4 1/2 years. I have continued to specialize in treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders at the Center for Anxiety and Behavioral Change (CABC) since joining the practice in March 2016.
