L. Elizabeth Bodnar PhD
In my practice, I focus on empirically valid interventions for OCD and OC Related Disorders such as Exposure and Response Prevention. The number of individuals treated for OCD in my practice has been expanding. At a given time, my practice is approximately 25% OCD and OC Related Disorders. I have performed testing and assessment work for over 50 children and adolescents with OCD, including school recommendations and IEP participation as needed.
I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at American University, as well as predoctoral and postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute. My training and practice is in assessment, behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy with children and their families. I have been providing comprehensive assessment and treatment for OCD and other disorders that commonly occur in children for the past 5 years. I am also a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute.
