Narrative of Services:

I have a small side practice in addition to my full-time job working for a faith-based nonprofit. Approximately 75% of my clients in private practice are being treated for OCD.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In my practice, I tend to blend CBT with an interpersonal approach to therapy. I find the most success using ERP for OCD, but I also bring in components of ACT, DBT, and interpersonal psychotherapy – particularly when co-occurring disorders are present. I work most with scrupulosity (moral/religious OCD), and I find it particularly important in this work to create a warm and safe environment where my clients know their religious traditions will be respected.

Training Description:

I completed a BTTI training on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in 2025. Since starting my first externship in 2018, I have worked with several clients with OCD, and developed a particular passion for working with religious scrupulosity.

Diversity Statement:

I have worked predominantly in faith-based settings where the majority of my clients practiced the Roman Catholic faith. I have a strong understanding of the way scrupulosity tends to present in the Catholic culture. That being said, I treat clients of any race, religion, or culture, and believe cultural humility is of the utmost importance.
