Courtney Boyd PhD

I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist who has a solo private practice. I provide outpatient evaluation and psychotherapy services. The majority of my clinical practice is devoted to helping children, adolescents, and adults who have OCD and/or anxiety disorders. I often utilize cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) when treating clients with OCD and anxiety. I generally see clients weekly for treatment. I also work with parents to help support treatment at home for children and adolescents.

Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders: I also treat anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, illness anxiety disorder, and panic disorder.

I have over 15 years of specializing in treating clients with OCD and anxiety disorders in outpatient settings. I work closely with clients and families to target distressing symptoms in a reasonable and stepwise fashion. I am a graduate of Wayne State University’s clinical psychology doctoral program.
