Justin Braun PhD
I offer exposure and response prevention (ERP) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) for the treatment of OCD and related disorders. My practice Columbus OCD and Anxiety Clinic specializes in the treatment of OCD and anxiety. Approximately 80% of my case load is dedicating to helping those with OCD. I have treated countless individuals with OCD, as this is my primary area of interest and expertise.
I provide treatment for the following co-occurring conditions: depression, trauma, grief counseling, substance use, adjustment issues, and general counseling.
I have specialized training and experience treating OCD and related disorders. I have been treating OCD for 12 years. I focused on specializing in the treatment of individuals with severe OCD and anxiety disorders on my doctoral internship experience at the VA Pittsburgh Health Care System, and completed a 2 year post-doctoral fellowship at Anxiety and Behavioral Health Services in Worthington, OH. During my post-doc experience, I focused primarily on treating individuals suffering from OCD with exposure and response prevention. Overall, I have dedicated my career to helping those suffering from OCD and anxiety disorders.
During my doctoral internship, I had the opportunity to work with veterans from a wide variety of ethnic and sociocultural backgrounds. It was an incredibly enriching experience that challenged me to approach therapy with a culturally humble and responsive lens.
I take pride in my ability to actively listen to my clients and understand their unique experiences and beliefs. I aim to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs and background.
