Narrative of Services:

Dr. Bruckner specializes in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety (Panic Disorder, OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias), Anxiety-Spectrum Disorders (Hypochondriasis, Trichotillomania, Body Dysmorphia), & health- and eating-related problems (binge eating, obesity). A majority of her practice is working with clients who suffer from OCD and OCD-related disorders. Dr. Bruckner’s practice is entirely focused on treating anxiety disorders and she has a subspecialty in treating co-occurring anxiety and eating-related issues.

Training Description:

Dr. Bruckner has been treating clients with OCD since 1990. She trained at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. This training primarily focused on treating individuals with OCD with exposure and response prevention. She continued her training in Cognitive Therapy as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Cognitive Therapy. Over the years, she has attended several IOCDF and ADAA conferences to further her education and training in treating OCD clients. The primary focus of her practice is to treat individuals who suffer from OCD and anxiety disorders.
