Kathryn Burnett PsyD
Dr. Burnett provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) for anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, depression, PTSD, emotion dysregulation, BFRB’s, and related concerns. She uses the following treatment modalities: Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed treatment, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
BFRB Treatment
Dr. Burnett completed a pre-doctoral internship at WellSpan Philhaven CBT, an APA accredited CBT and Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) training program. She is trained in various evidence-based therapies and has attended BTTI and other IOCDF trainings, including ongoing intermediate/advanced IOCDF consultation groups for OCD/ERP. Dr. Burnett has worked with a diverse range of patients in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, community mental health clinics, private practices, military treatment facilities, and community healthcare organizations.
I strive to make ERP and evidence based therapies available to diverse populations. My goal is to provide inclusive psychotherapy and to decrease barriers to accessing help. I offer a limited number of therapy scholarships in order to increase access to care.
