Narrative of Services:
Dr. Calbeck offers ERP to OCD clients in her Miami Beach office, using in-vivo exposures and offers exposures in the office and in naturalistic environments. Dr. Calbeck’s practice is split between her assessment specialty and CBT specialty focused on anxiety-related concerns. Regarding assessment services, Dr. Calbeck provides state of the science comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological testing services for the purposes of accommodations in the work and academic settings or disability concerns. Upon request, Dr. Calbeck will provide a superbill for services rendered that clients and families can choose to submit to their insurance company.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Treatment of co-occurring disorders includes: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment disorders.
Training Description:
Dr. Calbeck completed her BTTI OCD training at the Brooklyn 2018 training session. She completed her personal consultations with a member of the Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board. Dr. Calbeck has worked with pediatric and adult OCD clients since 2014. Dr. Calbeck has been in practice since 2002 utilizing CBT techniques within a strengths-based approach. She continually updates her OCD-related treatment protocols based on the research and continuing education from leaders in the field.

Dr. Calbeck works with individuals from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds, including those in highly observant communities where scrupulosity is a common concern. Dr. Calbeck is attentive to how culture shapes the express of obsessions and compulsions. Dr. Calbeck provides an affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Dr. Calbeck completed her Ph.D. at the University of Miami, which emphasized culturally-competence as part of their goals for training. Her dissertation focused on the cultural components of disordered eating in Latina populations. After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Calbeck worked at a Baptist Health hospital, serving a large and diverse population. Over the past 20+ years of practicing as a licensed psychologist, Dr. Calbeck served clients of many different backgrounds: multi-lingual individuals, immigrants, 1st and 2nd generation Americans; individuals from a diverse religious backgrounds; LGBTQ+ individuals; people from countries in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe.
