Narrative of Services:

Dr. Chazin’s practice has treated hundreds of patients with OCD and dozens with OC related disorders such as trichotillomania, excoriation, and body dysmorphic disorders. Typically about 40-60% of patients in the practice are being seen for OCD or an OC related disorder.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to expertise with OCD, Dr. Chazin’s practice also helps patients work with other serious anxiety conditions (including social anxiety, panic attacks, generalized anxiety); specific phobias (like vomit phobia, blood/needles/injections, driving, flying); trichotillomania and excoriation disorders (using COMB and HRT); and BDD.

Patients also can get treatment for problems like depression, mood fluctuations, perfectionism, procrastination, insomnia, school/work issues, and relationship issues which often accompany the obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Training Description:

Dr. Chazin is Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Center for Anxiety, OCD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. His practice specializes in providing effective, state-of-the-art treatments for adults and teens with anxiety, OCD, other obsessive-compulsive disorders, phobic, and traumatic stress disorders, plus commonly associated problems. A Board Certified Psychologist in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology and Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and author of multiple publications and trainings, Dr. Chazin draws upon unusual levels of clinical expertise, research knowledge, and experience working effectively with hundreds of clients with OCD, anxiety and related issues.
