Lyvia Chriki, PhD
Narrative of Services:
I treat individuals with emotion dysregulation and Borderline Personality Disorder. Many of these patients also struggle with severe anxiety as well as OCD. Currently the majority of my clients struggle with general emotion dysregulation and anxiety and approximately 25% also have an OC related disorder.
I received my doctorate at the Ohio State University, where I trained for two years at the Anxiety and Stress Disorders Clinic. There I treated a variety of anxiety-related disorders including panic, generalized anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, and PTSD. Later, I trained at the VA, where I provided treatment for anxiety, where OCD was at times a comorbid disorder. For the last several years I have been providing DBT for emotion dysregulation and usicidality, and OCD and related issues often co-present. I participated in the BTTI training through the IOCDF and also provide ExRP in my work.
I am Israeli and speak Hebrew.
