Christopher Cincotta LMFT
I am a staff therapist at the Orange County office of the OCD Center of Los Angeles in Fullerton. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness Based CBT for adults, adolescents, and children. My practice is focused 100% on the treatment of OCD, BFRBs such as Trichotillomania and Dermatillomania, and related anxiety based conditions. I have a particular focus on treating the OCD subtypes that are commonly described as “Pure Obsessional OCD”, or “Pure O”, such as HOCD, ROCD and Harm OCD. I provide individual therapy, online therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment.
I am a certified graduate of the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) at the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), as well as the Virtual Professional Training Institute (VPTI) at the TLC Foundation for BFRBs. I have also completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, and intensive Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) training for OCD and related disorders at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA). I received both my Master’s Degree in Counseling and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the California State University at Fullerton (CSUF).
