Narrative of Services:

I am a solo provider and specialize in perinatal mental health, insomnia, OCD, and trauma. I have been practicing for over 20 years, and typically have 1-3 clients with OCD on my caseload at any one time.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I provide treatment for people with OCD who also have generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, depression, and adjustment disorders. Most, but not all, of my clients have had perinatal OCD. Treatment involves identifying with my client which symptoms are most disruptive and providing treatment according to their preference, with some preferring to address perinatal adjustment or mood first and others preferring to address OCD first. Treatment may include a combination of support, psychoeducation, ACT, ERP, MI, or ART (eye movement therapy.) I discuss the pros and cons of medication with clients but am not licensed to prescribe.

Training Description:

I have treated clients with OCD for many years, but started individual consultation with an experienced OCD specialist, took the BTTI training, and started reading books and attending IOCDF workshops around 2016.

Diversity Statement:

I have worked with gay and lesbian parents, as well as parents who have adopted children.

I have attended workshops throughout my 30 year career on cultural competency, cultural identity and cultural humility. Prior to private practice I worked at a university as the liaison to international students.
