Narrative of Services:

In my practice, I work with individuals facing OCD and OCD-related disorders. My style is relational, conversational, and deeply curious about your unique story. To address OCD, we will build a collaboration where deep empathy meets thoughtful, constructive challenge.
I draw on evidence-based tools like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), integrating them with psychodynamic, solution-focused, trauma-focused, and attachment-based approaches. This allows us to tailor the therapy to what you actually need, ensuring you have an active collaborator as you navigate your symptoms and move toward positive growth.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

OCD rarely exists in a vacuum. I frequently treat co-occurring trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational distress. My treatment structure is integrative and highly collaborative. Alongside Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, I also offer EMDR, trauma-informed care, and psychodynamic approaches to navigate your broader experiences.

We balance deep empathy with thoughtful, constructive challenge, tailoring our sessions to your specific goals. By addressing both your OCD symptoms and your underlying trauma or life transitions, we ensure your complete story is honored as you move toward positive growth.

Training Description:

As a certified OCD therapist, I have six years of experience helping clients navigate OCD and OCD-related conditions. My clinical background is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I am trained in EMDR. I combine evidence-based tools like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with psychodynamic, attachment-based, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. This training allows me to look at how OCD intersects with broader relationship dynamics, life transitions, and personal growth, tailoring treatment to your whole story rather than just your symptoms.

Diversity Statement:

Making the choice to seek care is a significant step, and my goal is to foster a setting where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I have extensive experience working alongside the Black community, other communities of color, and individuals of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
I work with individuals, couples, and families across all cultural backgrounds. My clinical background includes training emerging clinicians in multicultural counseling, racism, and oppression, and I remain deeply dedicated to my own ongoing diversity and inclusion education. I want you to feel empowered to be yourself, knowing your cultural and personal identities are deeply valued in our collaboration.
