Narrative of Services:

I am currently offering individual and group therapy to parents and loved ones of people with OCD. There are limited resources available to parents and families dealing with OCD and it is a much needed community resource. I truly understand what living with a person with OCD is like and how it impacts the whole family. After I attend the BTTI training in February 2019, I will open up a percentage of my private practice to treating individuals with OCD directly.

Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes

Training Description:

I have been a clinician for over 20 years and I am the parent of a teenager with severe OCD. I have attended workshops including 10 hours of Exposure and Response Prevention: The Gold Standard in Anxiety & OCD Treatment (Beaton) and 5 hours of Living Life Beyond the Doubt: Field Tested Strategies for Navigating OCD (Nicely and Bell). I have read numerous books, studies and case histories and consulted with various experts in the field. I am scheduled to attend a three day BTTI (Behavior Therapy Training Institute) intensive ERP workshop through the IOCDF in February 2019.
