Narrative of Services:

Nourish Your Mind is a private psychotherapy practice specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders for children, adolescents, and adults. Approximately 90% of my clinical work has involved treating individuals diagnosed with OCD and related disorders, including generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and tic-related concerns.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Treatment at Nourish Your Mind is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) when appropriate. Together, we focus on understanding the patterns that maintain symptoms, building practical coping skills, increasing psychological flexibility, and developing healthier responses to life’s challenges. Rather than simply reducing symptoms, our goal is to help clients reconnect with their values, strengthen confidence in their ability to navigate uncertainty, and create lasting, meaningful change.

Training Description:

Following completion of my master’s program, I completed four years of specialized clinical training at the California OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center under the supervision of an IOCDF Professional Member. Before treating clients independently, I received intensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety. Throughout my pre-licensed and licensed experience, I received ongoing supervision while actively participating in IOCDF conferences, OCD SoCal events, and continuing education focused on OCD and related disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I provide culturally responsive, affirming care to children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I recognize that culture, identity, family systems, and lived experiences influence how OCD, anxiety, and related disorders are experienced and treated. My practice welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and identities in a respectful, inclusive environment.

My undergraduate education in the culturally diverse San Francisco Bay Area and graduate practicum experience at a nonprofit community mental health organization in Los Angeles strengthened my ability to provide culturally responsive, client-centered care. Throughout my clinical training and professional experience, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, socioeconomic, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds. I strive to approach every client with cultural humility while remaining committed to ongoing learning and inclusive, evidence-based care.
